The week began at the fabulous Grand Del Mar, nestled amidst Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve. The Grand Del Mar seamlessly combines the old-world charm of a Mediterranean estate with the modern luxury of an elegant resort. Golf? Spa? Relax poolside? Our participants did it all.
Day 2 - Monday, October 5, 2009
Rally to Coto de Caza to view a private classic car collection.
Continue to Palm Springs for the first of two nights at the La Quinta Resort and Spa in La Quinta, California. The rooms are bungalow style around our own pool

Public viewing and Wine Tasting presented by several local wineries
La Quinta is an enchanting desert oasis offering stunning Spanish mission-style design, glowing fireplaces, and private pools and hot tubs. Our rooms were poolside casitas.
Day 3 - Tuesday, October 6, 2009
Scenic drive to Joshua Tree National Park for a beautiful lunch at Short Wall. Some participants enjoyed rock climbing, while others just watched the professionals.

Wanna Drag? Rally to The Great Park in Irvine, California for a couple hours of racing on the runways of the former El Toro airfield
After lunch, head to Santa Monica and the Casa Del Mar Hotel. The Concours d'Elegance will be on the famous Santa Monica Pier.
Day 5 - Thursday, October 8, 2009
Private tour of the Nethercutt Museum-over 250 American and European automobiles dating from 1898 to 1997.
White House Luncheon and tour at the Reagan Library-Air Force One Pavilion
